Sleep 101: Essential Sleep Education for Every Stage of Life

Sleep is fundamental, yet it’s one of the least-discussed aspects of our well-being. We’re never really taught how to sleep well—either as children or adults. So many people feel frustrated with their sleep, thinking something is wrong, when really, they just need a bit of education about how sleep actually works.


Every consultation I have includes an “aha” moment—when suddenly, something clicks, and they say, “That makes sense!” I live for these moments. They’re usually about understanding the natural rhythms of the body, how daytime activities impact nighttime rest, and how sleep evolves at every stage of life. With the right knowledge, sleep becomes less mysterious and more manageable.



When we understand how sleep works, we can make changes that feel good and flow naturally into our lives. By empowering people and families with this knowledge, my goal is to make sleep something that fits easily into your life, from birth through adulthood. Sleep isn’t something to battle with; it’s a skill we can nurture with the right support, creating better rest and health for everyone.
